Beatport only accepts certain music genres and distribution to Beatport will not be possible if your release doesn't fall in one of the following genres:

- Downtempo
- Dubstep
- Electronic
- Electronica
- Garage
- Hardcore
- House
- Jungle/Drum'n'bass
- Techno
- Trance
