How to distribute to TikTok early



Getting my sound on TikTok early

For TikTok, we allow you to distribute the sound early, and it will be a one-minute clip from the preview start time you selected when creating the release at the track details stage (page 6 of the guide).


We usually recommend that the user can upload UGC with the clip and use it however they see fit. Once the release comes out on the expected date, this clip should be merged to the PGC, and all creations will be linked to the licensed content distributed through Apollo (PGC).


If you would like to distribute a one-minute clip earlier than the release date through Apollo:
  1. Ensure the Preview/Clip Start Time is at the correct starting time (chosen when creating the track)
  2. Go to your Release>Distribution>Use the checkbox to select TikTok ONLY
  3. Distribute the release as ASAP, again double-checking that you have only selected TikTok
  4. Your sound should appear on TikTok within a couple of days.
