FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I become an Apollo Artist?
Apollo is a selective, invite-only distribution service. We do take referrals from trusted friends and are open to suggestions. If you have a suggestion for Apollo you can hit the “Let’s Talk” tab on our website letting us know where
you’d be a great addition to our community.
Can I transfer my music over from another distributor?
Yes. If you are accepted as an Apollo Artist you can transfer previously released music onto our platform. Please speak to the team regarding the process.
Does it cost me to upload music on Apollo?
No. If you’re invited to become an Apollo Artist you will be allowed to release music as and when you like at no cost, as long as you keep within our community guidelines.
Can I work with Apollo as a record label?
Perhaps. As Apollo is an invite-only service we’d need to learn more about your business model and your own curation to working with talent. If we’re a good fit together, it’s possible.
Do I have to stay with Apollo?
No. You always own your masters and can always move your music elsewhere on once you’ve issued us a written notice (an email will suffice.) Once we’ve been notified, you’ll then enter a 90-day notice period ahead of our agreement for those songs being terminated.
